Dustin fills in for the Easter Bunny

Oh no! The Easter Bunny came down with that awful flu that's been going around! Luckily, Dustin was curious about just how hard that rabbit really worked, so he decided to fill in for him.

First, he decorated the yard. Good thing he's not scared of heights!

Next, he helped dye eggs.

He tried coming in disguise, but those smart kids saw right through it!

Early on Easter morning, he hid dozens of eggs in clever spots throughout the house.

Finally, he filled the baskets with all sorts of goodies.

"Whew!" thought Dustin, "that was exhausting. It's time to go hang out with my chicks."

Dustin checks out the Snow in Indiana!

We got about a foot of snow Friday, which has pretty much shut things down here in beautiful Indiana....we don't get this much often (news said it was the 9th record snowfall!) and everyone pretty much freaks out. But Dustin, being the adventuresome soul that he is, hopped outside to check out exactly how much snow we had!!

Dustin is lost in the Airport!!

And we aren't even sure in which one! The highly anticipated photos of the trip to South Padre Islands, birdwatching as well as to some fantastic food functions (go figure - you eat out frequently when you go to Grandpa and Grandma Sullivans!) will not be appearing. Unfortunately Dustin (as captured on Carol's camera) was lost in an unknown airport on Carol's wild trip back from Texas to Denver.

So if anyone finds a stray camera in an airport somewhere between Harligen and Denver, please return Dustin to us!!!!

Dustin goes to the Comedy Club!

George and I went to “Penguin’s Comedy Club” last night and on the way out of the house I remembered to grab “flat Dustin ” to go along with us…..but I didn’t grab my camera…. L. He did sit on the table with us as we enjoyed some cool, refreshing drinks and the comedy of “Chinaman”. After the show, I stopped to speak to the “Chinaman” as he had mentioned that he had free CD’s of his show to send to the troops if any of us knew anyone over there. So a friend had a camera phone and we attempted to take a picture with Dustin , Chinaman and myself…it was dark in the club, but I think you can see us all. He also gave me 2 CD’s for Dustin and Seth and told me to contact him at his website and he would send several copies to the troops at their APO address. I thought that was very kind of him. I guess his own father was a Marine for 20 years and he has friends over there, so he is thankful for all the troops and what they are doing for all of us. He was pretty funny, and I’m sure they would enjoy some humor over there, so I will be mailing Dustin and Seth their copies and getting a hold of the “Chinaman” to send along some more of his copies. His website is: www.mesofunny.com

Dino Dig

Where else do you start but from the beginning? How did Dustin get flat? Well, for those of us who know him well, he loves seeking out adventure. He has been a thrill seeker since the day he was born. The other day he decided that he was going to go with Paleontologist Barbie and Ken to find some dinosaur bones. That should be fun right? Dustin would love to go out into the great outdoors and find some buried bones. Little did he, Barbie, and Ken know, that where they were going not only were there dinosaur bones to be found, but also, there were still some real live dinosaurs.

So while Barbie and Ken were being practical and began to set up camp, Dustin threw down his bags and took off to look for some adventure. He had not been walking long we he heard this ferocious roar. It was ear splitting. Before Dustin new what was happening, he felt himself being crunched like a bug. My poor little brother had been flattened like a pancake! The story does not end there though. Tyrannosaurus Rex realized that he had just found lunch! He was going to eat Dustin...starting with his big ol' head.

Dustin screamed like a girl. It's a good thing he did too, because nearby lived a village of robots. These robots have special ears...they can only hear high pitched sounds. So when Dustin screamed like a girl, Zolie the Robot heard him and came running. Now Zolie the Robot has super human strength, even stronger than T-rex. With one right hook, Zolie sent that T-rex halfway to the moon. Dustin was so happy that he had been rescued, but because he could not talk like a girl on command, he could not tell Zolie thanks! He waved to Zolie, who went back to the robot village while Dustin headed back to camp.
When Dustin got back to camp he told Barbie and Ken all about what happened and why he was now flat. Barbie thought it was all very heroic and winked at Dustin. If Dustin hadn't already been flat, Ken might have made him that way.
